Manny has been
bowling for the past 35 years. He started
bowling in college. His first year, Manny booked
an average in the 140’s. Manny is very
supportive of all of the Mexican-American
Bowling tournaments and bowls most of them every
year.
Manny was a
member of the original Stockton Mexican-American
Bowling League and has held office as vice
president and Sgt-at-Arms.
When Manny
carried an average in the 190’s, he was told by
some hotshot that he would never carry a 200
average.
Well folks,
Manny was motivated. He has carried a 200 plus
average for the last 15 years and today comes in
with a 226 average.
Manny has 15,
yes 15, sanctioned 300 games and numerous 299
games. To prove that he is good for more than
one game, Manny has three 800 plus series to his
credit.
Manny is the
proud father of two children Manuel Raymond and
Marsha. Both accomplished bowlers in their own
right and has 3 grandsons. Manny and his
beautiful wife Bonnie just celebrated their 32nd
anniversary on July 5th.
Manny Guzman is a Gold Medallion Honoree.
