Silver Medallion
Andie was the
first secretary/treasurer for the Stockton
Mexican-American League and served in that
capacity for many years.
The
secretary’s job is not always an easy one and
sometimes not fully appreciated. Long ago we did
not have computers and fancy tele-scores and
secretary programs to help with the paper work.
The work was done by hand and the better
secretaries would type up the standing sheets.
Andie served
just as many years as tournament director when
the league bowled at El Dorado Bowl. Andy still
serves Mexican-American bowling well as she is
part of the MAMBO tournament committee.
While doing
all this, Andie still managed to carry an
average in the 180’s and helped her team win
many a tournament.
Andie Nuanes
is being honored with a Silver Medallion in the
MAMBO Roll of Fame.
