MORE TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Bowl M Am B O in Mexico City.

1.    Do you have a passport? You will need one. You can find all the info you need here:

https://pptform.state.gov/FraudAbuseNotice.aspx?Submit2=COMPLETE+FORM+DS-11+ONLINE

2.    If you are flying you need a Passport Book. If you are driving, a Passport Card is enough.

3.    Allow yourself plenty of time to receive the Passport, 4 - 6 weeks at least.

4.    We are using CAMINO REAL PERINORTE - (SEE RIGHT). The hotel is about

ONE HOUR from the Benito Juarez Airport and about 1 hour from Toluca Airport but very close to the Bowling Center Dorado. The cost from the Benito Juarez airport is about $35 per car (not per person). The cost from Toluca airport is $10 per person and they have a Shuttle directly to the hotel. You can visit Orbitz or any other web site and make your hotel reservation online if you wish to stay elsewhere. The MAMBO RATE to stay at CAMINO REAL PERINORTE is $82. This includes 18% tax, 4% hotel fee and Buffet Breakfast. This hotel also advertises on the internet and the last time we looked, the cost was $65 plus hotel tax (18% & 4% hotel fee) and did not include breakfast. Or you can see if you can get the whole package at a cheaper rate (air-lodging).  Volaris Airline out of Oakland is advertising $225 ROUNDTRIP . To make hotel reservations hotel you can use this email address asistreservaciones.perinorte@caminoreal.com.mx.

Subject line should be MAMBO FEBRERO 2010 and you are emailing Adrian Moreno. Info required:

Name, Arrival Date, Departure Date, Room Type: one or two beds, smoking or no smoking, Phone Nr,

5.    You can also choose to make your own reservations elsewhere.

6.    PLEASE NOTE: We aim to make it as easy on you as we can. If you fly into TOLUCA AIRPORT, they have a shuttle directly to CAMINO REAL PERINORTE HOTEL. If you fly into Benito Juarez Airport they do not have a shuttle so once you have your flight and hotel reservations, contact us and we will arrange to have someone meet you at the Benito Juarez Airport to pick you up and take you to the Camino Real Perinorte hotel. THIS IS NOT FREE. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE TAXI/HOTEL DRIVER. If you don't want or require this pickup then you will make your own arrangements to get yourself and your party to your hotel. But you have to let us know in plenty of time to make arrangements for you to be picked up. DO NOT CALL US THE DAY BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT AND EXPECT TO BE PICKED UP.

7.    SIGHTSEEING / SHOPPING: If you want to do some sightseeing and/or shopping, let us know early enough for us to put you in contact with someone that can help you.

8.    Mexico City is less than an hour from Tepoztlan and Tepotzotlan. You can find out more about these two historical places on the web here http://www.tourbymexico.com/morelos/tepoztla/tepoztla.htm and here. http://www.selway.org/calzada/tepotzotlan/tepotzotlan.htm. Tepotzotlan is on the way to Acapulco. Last time we visited, we took a bus from Mexico City to Acapulco and back.

9.    THE TOURNAMENT ITSELF. We will be doing Singles Event on Friday night at 6pm & 9pm. TRIOS on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10am, 1pm and 5pm. Doubles will be on Sunday at 10am and 1pm.
